All the content, trademarks and data on this web site, including but not limited to, software, databases, text, graphics, icons, hyperlinks, private information, designs and agreements, are the property of or licensed to LifeStore and as such are protected from infringement by local and international legislation and treaties.
When a user visits LifeStore or sends e-mails to LifeStore, that user consents to receiving communications from LifeStore electronically and agrees that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications sent by LifeStore satisfies any legal requirements, including but not limited, to the requirement that such communications should be "in writing".
Spiders and Crawlers
No person, business or web site may use any technology to search and gain any information from this site without the prior written permission of LifeStore.
Apart from the provisions of sections 43(5) and 43(6) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, neither LifeStore nor any of its agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use this web site or the services or content provided from and through this web site. The price of each product is displayed with the product. In the event of a sale or special offer, the discounted price is displayed.
Shipping of products by LifeStore is not limited to the Republic of South Africa, but the terms are as follows:
The cost of shipping within the borders of South Africa is free of charge.
For delivery costs outside the borders of South Africa, please contact LifeStore for a quotation.
Value Added Tax
Value added tax at the rate of 14% is charged on goods bought by South African residents.
All displayed prices are inclusive of VAT
VAT is not payable on orders if both the billing and the shipping address are international.
Import duties may be payable by recipients of goods in foreign countries. LifeStore does not know what levies may be payable and cannot calculate or estimate such costs.
Inside the borders of South Africa
Locally sourced products – approximately three to five business days.
Internationally sourced products - approximately seven to fourteen business days.
If items with different delivery times are ordered together, the item with the longest delivery time will determine the delivery time of all the items in the order.
Outside the borders of South Africa

Delays and cancellations
LifeStore makes every effort to assure that the information supplied on the site is accurate. Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every effort will be made to inform the buyer.
Credit card payments
At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and an authorization is obtained for the amount of the order.
Payment is only collected when the order is completed and the goods shipped.
Note that to protect its own and the interests of customers, LifeStore scrutinizes all transactions very carefully to prevent attempted fraud and a transaction may be refused if Lifestore is not satisfied with its legitimacy.

Paying by bank deposit or electronic funds transfer (EFT) is easy. Go ahead and place your items in your basket and when you reach the point where you must pay, simply select the "Pay by Bank Deposit or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)" option. The following details are printed here for your convenience; they will also appear on your Bank Deposit pages, as well as a personal confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.

You have to quote your order number and surname as reference to ensure we know who the money is from - this way we can allocate the payment to your order
You"ll have to pay within 5 working days to avoid your order from being cancelled. We"ll start processing your order as soon as we receive your payment.
Delivery dates: If the product"s delivery time is 5 working days, we count this from when we receive your payment. Note that the total delivery time of your parcel is determined by the basket item with the longest delivery time.
If you have paid via bank deposit it can take between 2-5 working days before the money reflects on our system. Orders placed for delivery within 24hrs will therefore not be processed as a result of this delay.
Agreements of Sale
Placing an item in a shopping basket or adding it to a wishlist without completing the purchase cycle does not:
Constitute an agreement of sale between LifeStore and users cannot hold LifeStore liable if such items are not available when the purchase cycle is completed later; and/or
Constitute an order for such an item; and
LifeStore may remove such an item from the shopping basket or wishlist if no stock is available.
An agreement of sale between LifeStore and a user only comes into effect if and when:
A credit card authorisation is received from the issuing bank; or
LifeStore reserves the right to refuse to accept and/or execute an order without giving any reasons. LifeStore also reserves the right to cancel orders in whole or in part as circumstances dictate. LifeStore shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by the user.
LifeStore shall take all reasonable efforts to maintain correct prices. However, should errors occur and items are offered at incorrect prices, LifeStore will not be obliged to sell goods at such incorrect prices and shall only be liable to refund monies paid.
Stocks of all goods on offer are limited. LifeStore shall take all reasonable efforts to discontinue the offer as soon as stock is no longer available. However, should items still be offered after stocks are sold, LifeStore shall only be liable to refund monies where it is unable to fulfil orders at advertised prices. Governing Law

Subject to the User"s consent, inform the User of facts relating to his/her access and use of the LifeStore website;
Subject to the User"s consent, inform the User about competitions and special offers from LifeStore and/or its partners / affiliates;
To verify the identity of the User when transacting with LifeStore
To ensure that the goods are received by the addressee

LifeStore may collect, maintain, save, compile and share any information collected from users, subject to the following provisions:
LifeStore shall not disclose personal information from Users unless the User consents thereto;

LifeStore owns and retains all rights to non-personal statistical information collected and compiled by LifeStore.
Any person that delivers or attempts to deliver any damaging code to this web site or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any page on this web site shall be prosecuted and civil damages shall be claimed in the event that LifeStore suffers any damage or loss.
The user agrees and warrants that its log-in name and password shall:
Be used for personal use only; and
Not be disclosed to any third party.
The user allows LifeStore to take all reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and security of the LifeStore site and back-office applications.
All credit card transactions are Secure Socket Layers encrypted. The company registration documents and the site"s registered domain name are checked and verified by VeriCard.
Changes to Agreement
LifeStore may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
In the event of any dispute of any nature whatsoever arising between the parties on any matter provided for in, or arising out of this agreement, and not resolved through the Customer Relations Department of LifeStore, then such a dispute shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in terms of the expedited rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa. LifeStore chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Unit 20, Tungsten Industrial Park, C.R. Swart, Strijdom Park, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Term and Termination
This agreement shall commence when the user registers on the LifeStore site and continues indefinitely until terminated by LifeStore.
